Quarter Past
A downloadable game
My submission to the 2020 GameDev.tv Game Jam: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-communi...
The assigned theme was "Time."
Inspired by classic Asteroids, Fishy, and the friction of reading manual clocks, your goal is to collide with clocks of lesser value while avoiding clocks of higher value. Every successful hit advances your current time, and you can score combos with projectile minute hands!
A bonus Hourglass spawns every 12 hours to restore health. Enemy speed and frequency increases every 24 hours. Brush up on your "circle time" and survive as long as possible!

Install instructions
1. Download "Quarter Past.zip".
2. Right click, "Extract All" to a location of your choice. I recommend extracting to a new folder to contain the unzipped contents.
3. Open the unzipped folder and double-click the "Quarter Past" application. Leave "Quarter Past" and all other files in the unzipped folder, as they are needed to run the game via Unity Player.

Very cool and original! I got to day 8!!! It becomes pretty intense after a while, haha :D
Thanks so much for playing! I am glad to hear the difficulty creep was challenging! In a future build, I may add variety to the difficulty scaling. Rather than the (admittedly lazy) increase in enemy speed over time, I may implement different kinds or obstacles, pathing variety, timebombs and more. Thanks again!
Sounds like a good idea! :)
